8 games in and I wondered what people's thoughts are on our exceedingly good new left back? Haven't seen many threads for the lad.
I've been impressed. Keeps running all day, excellent left peg, some of his crossing is top drawer.
He seems to have a good attitude too, and goes about his business without any fuss. With our new midfield formation, the width provided by the full backs has added importance and Cresswell is definitely putting his hand up. Bit concerned as to what happens if he gets injured? Not sure JOB as a right footer or young Potts offer anything like what Cresswell does in attack?
Haven't seen enough of him so far defensively (says a lot about how well we're playing) to be sure what he's like when we're under the cosh? This weekend will be a real test for him this weekend against Navas or Nasri. Not sure he's really had a winger going at him yet? Looking forward to see how he gets on.

Very impressed so far.
Would like to see if he can take a freekick. See him as possibly the next Leighton Baines. Got that same attacking intent and ability.

Suggested a few games back that he could push for an England place. On current form better than Gibbs and Shaw. Now we are top 4 no doubt he will get picked!

Looks like an excellent signing, pace to burn, sweet left peg, gets forward, pings a great cross in, and his attitude is bang on.
As said though, proper test defensively coming up.

Obama, there's defending when you're playing in evenly contested games, and defending when you're getting dicked by Chelsea.
Still, all the signs so far are that he's got what it takes.

Great little player, really wished he'd have scored on Saturday, had a great chance, unfortunately straight into the keepers midriff.
Can't really see that shaw is much if any better than him
We've got two new full backs for the next 5 yrs.

Having watched Luke Shaw earlier At this stage Cresswell looks much better value for money. Hope it continues i thought Man Untd were rubbish in defence.

You are usually extolling the virtues of exotic fruity name foreign players based on a 30 second youtube clip. Surely, many players are purchased based on having been watched fewer times than Aaron.

Has enough potential to be our best left back since dicksie. A better player than jenkinson by some degrees. Watching the two of them bomb forward gives me happy thoughts of the very early 90s when dicks and breaker terrorised defences.
